Grammy-winning singer Lizzo will serve as the grand marshal of Houston’s 77th Annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade, organizers announced.
The parade is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026, at 9 a.m. in downtown Houston.
The annual event is one of the nation’s oldest Thanksgiving Day parades and draws hundreds of thousands of people to downtown Houston each year to celebrate the holiday.
This year’s parade is expected to feature elaborate floats, performances and family-friendly entertainment as Houstonians gather to kick off the holiday season.
Lizzo, known for hits including “About Damn Time” and “Truth Hurts,” will lead the festivities as grand marshal.
The H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade is a longtime Houston tradition that brings families and visitors together on Thanksgiving morning.
Additional details about the parade, including its lineup and route information, are expected to be announced as the event approaches.
